Note: Static banners come in .jpg format and are generally under 10k. Animated banners come in .gif format and can range from 10k & up. The more complex the animated banner is, the higher it will be in kilobytes. Both of these types of banners can be used as headers or signatures in both personal & commercial e-mail, in any e-mail program (even in AOL), on websites, message boards, forums, topsites lists, eBay or anywhere on the Internet where a picture can be displayed.
