*Welcome to the Rainbow Bridge at LongBraid Designs*

This section of our website is dedicated to my beloved cat Socks, who lost his fight for life on October 11, 2010.
I miss him terribly and am looking forward to seeing him again at the Rainbow Bridge.

I was so moved & comforted by all the sympathy emails I received from friends, family & customers who have faced this very same thing in their lives that I decided to create this Rainbow Bridge section here at LongBraid Designs. Whether you have lost your "baby" from natural causes, an accident or as in my case, had to make that horrific decision to have Socks put to sleep to alleviate his suffering from disease... there is a hole in your heart where your baby used to be. It is my sincere hope that as you read the stories of others you will be comforted, as I was, to know that you are not alone.

If I may be so bold to offer some advice to you... reach out to all the "pet parents" in your life for comfort & sympathy, especially those who have lost one of their animal family members. Many people who have not experienced the unconditional love of a 4-legged or winged family member often can't understand what you're going through and might even respond to you in a cruel and uncaring manner. That is truly the last thing you need in this "raw" emotional time in your life.
